About Terri Kalis

Bsc. Physio (UCT), Pilates Instructor (Healthy Living Pilates)

Terri Kalis graduated from UCT in 1996. After a year working in the NHS in the UK she returned to private practice in Cape Town. She owned a practice in Sea Point for 10 years and during that time was the Physiotherapist at Hamilton’s Rugby Club. She now has a practice and studio at her house in Constantia, Cape Town.

Terri’s main areas of interest are sports injuries, back and neck rehabilitation, and Pilates. Terri has represented South Africa at 5 Touch Rugby World Cups and is still actively involved in the game.

Terri is also the Director at PowerEd Kids. This group offers training sessions of fun strength-building and mobility exercises, to help primary school children move better and have greater power, so they can improve performance in sports and games, boost their confidence and enjoy themselves more.

Pilates guarantees stress reduction, postural improvement, increased strength and flexibility, as well as improved tone, balance, co – ordination, circulation and overall fitness.
